Pre Season Friendly: Hallen 0 Bath City 3
Bath City secured a victory with three late goals, in a game that was played in three 30 minute parts, with both teams giving 20 plus players playing time. This allowed the game to flow without constant stoppages for substitutions. It was the first opportunity for the Hallen fans to see what work had been put in behind the scenes, in pre season and the players that Steve Winter has signed during the summer. There was sufficient evidence that the team has reached a good level of fitness, and a style of football that will keep the fans happy. Photos link

Dave in action for Bath City
This will be Bath City's third pre season fixture having already played Bristol City (L 0-1) and Newport County (W 2-0) and will play Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday at Twerton Park. After a difficult summer off the pitch we are pleased to be back in action and against what is surely going to be our strongest opponents of the season.
TOOLSTATION WESTERN LEAGUE
The monthly manager award is to be replaced by a 'Team of the Month' award, for each division.
The Board of Directors consider the award should recognise the efforts of not only the manager but his assistant, back room staff and players who all contribute.
Boco Teamwear will continue its sponsorship of the new award which will be determined by a points system. Away win 4 pts, Home win 3 pts, Away Draw 2 pts, and 1 pt for a Home Draw.
The total points will be averaged out by the number of matches played, and if more than one team has the top mark,it will be a joint Team of the Month.
There will be an award to the manager of the season for each division, determined by a vote from each manager in the division. Managers will not be permitted to vote for themselves.
The full fixtures for the coming season are expected to be published on July 17th.

Two More Local Derbies
The promotion of third placed Cribbs from Division One and the decision to demote Clevedon Town on ground issues from the Southern League has provided two further local derbies. Will either of these be our opponents on Boxing Day ?.
