STATEMENT RE CLOSURE OF HALLEN FOOTBALL CLUB

Founded 1949

Formerly known as Lawrence Weston Athletic before changing to Lawrence Weston Hallen and then to Hallen in 1990

The Ground is part of the Hallen Centre, which has three other pitches, besides the enclosed ground which has been passed for Southern League Football.

Bristol Rovers Under 16s and Under 18s play their home fixtures at The Hallen Centre

This is the fifteenth season that the club has been playing in the Toolstation Western League, and the eleventh in the Premier Division.

The club also participates in the FA Cup FA Vase, Gloucestershire Challenge Trophy, and Les Phillips (League) Cup.

The Reserves play in the Bristol Premier Combination Premier Division, the highest level within the Pyramid permitted, unless the first eleven gain further promotion.

The club has an Under 15s side playing in the Avon Youth League Under 15s Division One, and a Junior Section at various ages.

TWO CUP FINALS FOR UNDER 15s

The Under 15s lost to Nicholas Wanderers in the GFA Under 15s Cup Final on penalties after the game finished 2-2. They now hope to make amends when they meet Bitton in the Final of the League Cup in May.
